The founder's letter

Why I am building this — and why now.

I’ve always believed books are the best excuse to talk about everything else — the quiet questions we do not get to ask in everyday life. About love, courage, and who we want to become.

Moving to Ireland, I found a country that loves stories like no other. But I also found that many readers, like me, were doing it alone. I wanted a place to gather: a circle that felt warm, slow, curious, and a little braver than ordinary life.

So I am building one. Not a traditional book club, but a literary home for people who believe a single conversation can change a Tuesday — and sometimes a whole year.

Is this a traditional book club?

No. We are a community first — books are the doorway. Expect warm gatherings, ideas, friendships and shared experiences, not homework.

Do I have to finish every book?

Never. Come half-read, quarter-read, or simply curious. Showing up is enough.

Where will events take place?

Across Ireland, beginning with intimate venues in Dublin: cafés, bookshops and rooms with atmosphere.

Can complete beginners join?

Absolutely. If you love stories — or want to — you belong here.

Does the waitlist create an account?

No. The waitlist only saves your name and email. Member accounts will open later as the community grows.

Will there be memberships in the future?

We are currently focused on building our founding community. Membership options may become available later.
