Monthly Reading Gatherings
Intimate, hosted evenings around a single shared book — in cafés, libraries and snug Dublin venues.
Ireland's new literary community
Books • Ideas • Impact
We're creating a new kind of literary community in Ireland — where readers gather to share ideas, build friendships, and experience books together. Slow conversations, candlelit evenings, Irish authors, and a circle that feels like home.

A reader lives a thousand lives before she dies. The one who never reads lives only one.
IRead IShare Ireland is a community for curious, connected people across Ireland. We bring readers together — in person and online — with great books, meaningful conversation, and genuine human warmth. Every session and every story is designed to make reading something we share, not something we do alone.

Sonia Cozma · Founder
The Founder's Letter
I've always believed books are the best excuse to talk about everything else — the quiet questions we don't get to ask in everyday life. About love, about courage, about who we want to become.
Moving to Ireland, I found a country that loves stories like no other. But I also found that so many readers — like me — were doing it alone. I wanted a place to gather. A circle that felt warm, slow, curious, and a little bit braver than ordinary life.
So I'm building one. Not a traditional book club. A community. A literary home for people who believe a single conversation can change a Tuesday — and sometimes a whole year.

The Experience
Intimate, hosted evenings around a single shared book — in cafés, libraries and snug Dublin venues.
Guided conversations that go beyond the plot — about ideas, identity, and the lives a book opens up.
Quarterly Q&As with Irish writers — both the household names and the voices you'll want to discover.
Themed evenings that bring stories to life — candlelight, music, food, and the world of the page.
Weekends away in Ireland's most atmospheric corners — to read, walk, write and meet your people.
Hands-on workshops and a curated reading box — coming soon for our founding circle.

What we believe
We follow the questions a book opens up, wherever they lead.
Real conversation, with real people, in real rooms.
Every reader belongs — every background, every age, every pace.
Reading as a quiet, joyful practice for a whole life.
Championing the writers shaping Ireland today and tomorrow.
Show up as you are. Half-read is welcome. Curious is enough.
Founding Readers
We're not launching with a finished product — we're building this together with the people who care most. Our founding readers are the ones who will shape how this community feels, sounds, and welcomes those who come after.
Follow the story
Every evening, every reading, every quiet moment behind the scenes — we're sharing it all on Instagram. Come and meet the community as it's forming.

Questions
No. We're a community first — books are the doorway. Expect warm gatherings, ideas, friendships and shared experiences, not homework.
Never. Come half-read, quarter-read, or just curious. Showing up is enough.
Across Ireland — starting with intimate venues in Dublin (cafés, bookshops, candlelit corners), expanding as the community grows.
Absolutely. If you love stories — or want to — you belong here.
